Step into the captivating, golden glow of Hollywood’s past in this haunting and heartfelt musical. In her grand Sunset Boulevard mansion, former silent-film star Norma Desmond dreams of making her triumphant return to the spotlight. When down-on-his-luck writer Joe Gillis unexpectedly crosses her path, the two form an unlikely partnership that will change both of their lives.
As they work together on Norma’s big comeback, Joe is drawn into a world of glamour, hope, and imagination—while discovering too late what truly matters along the way. Filled with memorable characters and powerful storytelling, their journey is both poignant and unforgettable.
Based on the famous Billy Wilder movie, this musical features a stunning score by Phantom of the Opera composer Andrew Lloyd Webber. Songs include “With One Look,” “As If We Never Said Goodbye,” and “The Perfect Year." Sunset Boulevard is at once a dramatic celebration of ambition and stardom, as well as a cautionary tale of fame, obsession, and vanity. IVRT's Sunset Boulevard is reimagined with a full orchestra on stage conducted by Maestro Donald Brinegar and starring Cassandra Marie Murphy as Norma Desmond.
